GE
is sharing the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh story with hundreds of thousands
of visitors to its website in a specially produced video now featured on
the corporation’s home page (www.ge.com).
The 6-minute video describes the “innovation treasure hunt”
conducted by several GE and Airbus engineers who visited AirVenture this
past summer. They roamed “hundreds of acres of ideas” at the
World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration, aiming to harvest the spirit,
creativity and innovation on display by EAA members. (Read more about
the GE-Airbus visit from the pages of AirVenture
Today online.)
Mark Neubauer, Lead
Engineer, GE Aviation, says it all: “You won’t find a more creative,
meticulous group of people to work with, and that is one of the most
rewarding parts - meeting these people that share this common not only
passion but this mindset about how to approach problem solving. It’s
unsurpassed.”
The video also features EAA
members Juliette and Roger Cosh of Rosendale, New York, who discuss
their passion for homebuilding and their GlaStar project.

of its website through October 24.
